Important/memorable party

Recently my family and I celebrated the 80th birthday of my grandmother, it was just a few weeks ago. She was very excited about it so we prepared a special party for her. In total we were fifty-something people; the house was full and she could see people she hadn’t seen in a really long time.
The house was decorated with balloons and streamers, the food was delicious and my grandma had a crown with lights on it, she looked very funny. We even bought her a piƱata that we filled with sweets. It was fun and special, besides in a certain way, when we get that older we became children again, at least that it was I think. Everything was beautiful and we had an amazing time.
As everyone else, I don´t know how much longer it’s going to live my grandmother, so I enjoyed seeing her like that; happy and full of life at that age. I wish I would be like that at that age and not be a bitter old bitch.

Goodbye, until next week.

Turkey

One of my biggest dreams is travel around the world, I wish I could travel to every country, however, lately I’ve been wanting to visit Turkey mostly because a TV show that I’m watching and it’s filmed there.  Turkey it’s between Europe and Asia, something I think it’s quite fascinating because has the better of the two continents; the history of Europe and the mystery and the charm of Asia. Turkey has a beautiful landscape and an ancient culture.  It was the home to numerous civilizations. Constantinople it is currently in Turkish territory and once was the capital of the Easter Roman Empire and later the Ottoman Empire.
In Turkey I’d love to fly a hot air balloon, visit the ruins, eat the typical food  and enjoy the historic landscape.

Despite the wonders of Turkey I don’t think I could actually live there, probably the culture and the people it’s very different from what I'm used or maybe I’d miss my family, I don’t know, but I definitively love to visit Turkey.

Ideal job

My dreamy job would be a professional reader, not an editor (that’d require correction, which is not my thing) just a reader that could give a small review but nothing else, something I think it doesn´t exist, which is sad because it would be really awesome to be paid for reading some book. Apart of enjoying the lecture I would organize my own time, read from wherever I want when I want it. So In some way I’d be pretty much free, of course I’d have to follow some schedule, but I think it would be perfect.
A skill you need for this job it would be a fast reader and be an organized person. I think I’d be good because I love reading, get lost in the story, the characters, etc. So I’ll be working all day without complaining.
The most difficult of all, is that I’d never get the job because, in fact,  it doesn’t exist at all. However, if for some magic and incredible reason it does exist, let me know please. I’d be very happy.
I’m sure it would be times that I’d have to read something I don´t particularly like, but I also know and can think of far worse jobs out there.
