The Guardian's article

First I have to say that I chose this article because I am a fan of Mean Girls and somehow I have to commemorate its 10 years.
The article talks about the 10th anniversary of the film, reviewing the well known quotes from the film, its screenwriter, the cast and the legion of fans that have left over the years.
The article recognized that in a kind of way Mean Girls is close to the real life, but also talks about the absurdity that characterizes the movie, exemplifying with the exaggeration of the Burn Book, Karen’s gifted breasts and the math rapping. The journalist emphasizes on the quotes, which are easily recognizable, thanks to the internet.
The article talks also about the cast, referring to it as half decent, recognizing for their work to Rachel McAdmas and Lizzy Caplan.
Finally the article concludes that Mean Girls, like any teen comedy, is full of drama and bullying, however, the movie has been able to stand out and become one of the pillars of pop culture without feeling like a MySpace-era throwback.

At the end of the article, the journalist shows Youtube videos of the best scenes and quotes of the movie. You can visit the site and watch them if you want.
