I love languages, I wish I could learn at least 4. When I was in school I took a course of
Chinese, it was very interesting to learn the customs and traditions, the cultural
inheritance of China (I learned the chinese anthem), it was a very fascinating time. Unfortunately I never
practiced the little I learned, so now I don’t remember almost anything.
Anyway, I love languages, especially English, therefore, I like to learn it. It is
fun and,of course, very useful and basic these days. As I said before, I enjoy
English, however, I’m not a fan of blogging, mainly because I think I write
pure crap, especially when you have to do a certain number of words, in the end
I end up filling only to reach the number (sorry Henry). That’s why I prefer Thursdays classes, where
we can talk and practice, I think it’s more dynamic.
Out of classes I read a lot in English, watch videos and listen
to music. When I’m listening something I always try to concentrate on the words and the pronunciation,
I try to remember the vocabulary and the context, and it is very satisfying to
understand something without having to read the subtitles. Sadly, I can say that I understand more than I
can actually speak.
I think that maybe the key to learn another language is to practice
every day, have a good memory and a good ear. It also serves singing, listening
to music in another language, helps with the vocabulary, the pronunciation and the
culture of another country, it’s an
easy, entertaining and much friendlier way to learn.
