Comics + Cartoons

I don’t know why but there are lots of people who didn’t like cartoons or comics, it’s probably because they find it very childish, useless or too fantastic. The thing is that I like them; I have always enjoyed them, since childhood. The first cartoon or rather animé that affected me was Sailor Moon. After this, many others were to follow, like; Hey Arnold, The Rugrats, Real Monsters, Digimon, Naruto, Koni Chan, Bobby’s world, Doug, Animaniacs, Space ghost coast to coast, and many more, I'm sure I’m missing a lot too. As you can see I used to watch a lot of Tv (I still do, by the way). I watched so many different programs and some have nothing in common with each other, that I don’t know what specifically refer to, but I like the genre of adventure, comedy, romance...everything really.

Continuing with the subject, of course I still see cartoons, though perhaps more mature themes are touched, the essence is the same. I'm sure some of you have also happened, that when you have watched old animated series. you realize of many things (sometimes sexual jokes) that as a child you would have never understood.  And then I think what kind of things did I watch as a child? This is not something that alarmed me, is not something that I would forbid to my children, mainly because they wouldn’t understand, but it surprised me that something like it is transmitted and is directed to children, it is very strange.  Because I am concerned about the hiper sexualization of the society in general, but more in children.
